My name is Jeanne Kavanagh, I'm a retired Occupational Therapist with 30 years of experience working with individuals to increase their independence in daily activities. I have founded Access Everywhere Solutions, an advocacy campaign dedicated to making hotel stays truly accessible for travelers with mobility issues. While many hotels offer accessible rooms, one of the most critical features is overlooked:, the bed.

Beds are frequently too high, too low or unsafe for transfers, leaving guests unable to use the rooms safely and independently.

Our campaign is working to change this by encouraging the hospitality industry to adopt adaptive, hotel grade beds that:

*Offer adjustable height for safe transfers.

​

*Include head and foot articulation for comfort and independence.

​

*Provide discreet, optional safety features (such as side rails or trapeze) that align with a hotel-quality aesthetic.
